Power Transistor Outline (TO) Packages
Common uses for these packages include high-power and high voltage devices, MOSFETs, high-power diodes, power rectifiers and IGBT devices to name just a few. These packages have excellent thermal properties from Cu/W heat sinks that can include BeO and ALN inserts; isolating the case if needed. Packages meet Military and Space specifications.
There are a number of common open tooled designs such as TO254, TO257 and TO258. These are often available with little or no lead time. Package frames are typically Kovar or CRS 1010 with bases constructed of OFHC copper or Cu/W (80/20). Common pin materials include copper cored Alloy 52 or Cu/Zr with a variety of finishes.

- Ceramic eyelets for higher reliability and performance (glass eyelets available upon request)
